Precision Resource Group have joined Programme One

Precision Resource Group (PRG) are proud to announce that we are now members of Programme One.

Programme One address workplace inequality for Black talent within the Recruitment Industry.

They seek to deliver a lasting programme of change that addresses the significant underrepresentation of Black talent within this industry. Their strategic ambition is to remove barriers of 500 or more Black recruiters every year.

By being a member of Programme One, PRG are joining those organisations that challenges bias, improves equality of opportunity, and enhances equity.

Our commitment is to remove barriers to hiring Black recruiters so that we match the Black representation in our local community.

PRG are proud to match this representation already within our business; however, we still strive to improve this percentage and increase our representation of Black recruiters within our company.

PRG’s Lead Delivery Consultant Francis Macaulay continues:

‘I’m really proud of PRG for supporting this programme. It’s one of the many steps we’ve taken to improve on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

This is aimed at Black representation in recruitment, and its about removing those barriers at entry, so people in our community feel that they can build a career.’

Programme One has brought the recruitment industry together to collectively remove the inequalities which are restricting and inhibiting the engagement of Black talent in the sector.

The programme is aiding us with the following:

  • Building our own Diversity & Inclusion strategy if you do not currently have one
  • Creating an inclusive culture and working environment
  • Understanding the Black representation in your local community
  • Developing an understanding of how to access wider talent pools
  • Access to a structured mentoring programme
  • Accessing a library of information on Black contribution to culture and history
  • Running an internal D&I survey

All forms of discrimination are significant. Challenging bias and redefining equal opportunity is at the core of our values at PRG, as we strive to be as inclusive as possible and commit to removing all barriers for Black recruiters.
